With this activity we introduced little ones to the basic concepts of fraction where we asked the children to identify the objects as portions by giving different real world examples. It helped them to have better knowledge and understanding of the concept.

A fingerprint is a mark left behind after the ridges on the fingers, hands, toes or feet touch an object. In this activity, tiny tots made a set of direct fingerprints using two different techniques and learnt to identify the patterns.
