Indus Valley International School (IVIS) organized an orientation programme on July 2, 2022, for parents to familiarize them, “as partners in progress” with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities. The Orientation began on a thought that was as follows:
“A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe.”
Welcoming parents, Mrs ShashiKala Naidu – Principal, IVIS spoke at length about the benefits of effective communication between parents and teachers; she laid emphasis on a strong connection with the school patrons. She even sought support and suggestions from the parents to provide best education and growth opportunities to the children of the school, and shared few tips on good parenting.
The orientation programme proved to be a sincere effort made by the school in educating the parents to look after and guide their children in a proper manner.
