On 8th July 2023, Parent Orientation Session was conducted for the esteemed parents of the Indus valley International School. It was a pleasure to have our esteemed guest speaker, Dr Vangeepuram Sreenathachary to share valuable insights on the importance of teamwork and the vital role that the parent-teacher-student connection plays in their child’s educational journey.
The event began with a warm welcome by our principal, Ms Priya Darshini, who expressed gratitude for your presence and emphasized the importance of a strong home-school partnership. She highlighted the new initiatives taken up by the school like DEAR Time, special emphasis on reading and writing skills, and the start of a helpline number where concerns will be directly handled by the Principal to name a few.
By the end of the session, parents gained a deeper understanding of the pivotal role they play in their child’s educational journey. They were inspired to build strong partnerships with teachers, ensuring that their child receives the best possible support and guidance.
