Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam

To commemorate the birthday of Poet Kaloji, our Telangana State has declared September 9th as Telugu Language Day. On this occasion, we celebrated the Telugu Language Day on 9th September at 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥. The students were all dressed in colorful traditional attire. Students recited and sang poems, and songs, to describe the glory of the Telugu language.
After the formation of the state of Telangana, the state government chose some emblems to state the uniqueness of the state. Students then presented “𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐲𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚” in a very beautiful and poetic manner. On the occasion, it was emphasized that even if one learns other languages due to necessity, one should never forget their mother tongue.
The school principal, Priya Darshini, advised the students not to neglect their mother tongue while learning other languages. Most of the prominent persons like French Prime ministers, and Russian Prime minister were educated in their native languages only.
On the whole, this was a very colorful, fun and message-oriented event.
