At IVIS School, sports are given equal importance as academics.Inter House Swimming Competition was held on 11th October 23. Enthusiasm and excitement could be seen everywhere. It was a great opportunity for the students to display their sterling swimming skills. Not only the participants but the spectators were also equally excited as the competition began. Their enthusiasm had to be seen to be believed.
The competition started with the individual races of Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly and 4x 25 Freestyle Relay. Students represented their houses in each race. The Principal Priya Darishini , HM and swimming coach encouraged the children and boosted their morale with their kind presence. All boys and girls gave their level best & got positions in their respective events.
The children represented their houses enthusiastically and showed great sportsmanship in all the swimming events.
Behind the glittering results was the great Heep Yunn spirit that forms strong bonds within the team. โA team sharing a dreamโ was the belief of every swimmer, as together they could achieve more and go farther. The harder the challenge ahead is, the stronger and more united Heep Yunn swimmers are. For every competition, Heep Yunn swimmers are never alone. Although they cannot guarantee a win, they can guarantee a fight. With such great spirit passed on, Heep Yunn swimmers will definitely shine and unleash greatness in the pool in the years ahead.
All in all, this yearโs Inter-school Swimming Competition has been a day so remarkable and marvelous to the swimmers as well as to every Heep Yunn girl. All of us would definitely say, โSwimming team, we are proud of you!โ
