Pink Eye

Date:7/08/2023,

Dear Parents,
Greetings!!
We hope this message finds you in good health. We are writing to inform you about a recent occurrence of conjunctivitis (commonly known as “pink eye”) in the environment. Conjunctivitis is an eye infection that can be highly contagious, and we want to ensure the health and well-being of all our students.
Symptoms of conjunctivitis may include redness, itching, tearing, discharge, and sensitivity to light. If your child exhibits any of these symptoms, it is essential to take appropriate precautions to prevent further spread.
Here are some measures you can take to protect your child and others from conjunctivitis:
1. Keep Your Child at Home
2. Seek Medical Attention
3. Practice Good Hygiene: Encourage your child to wash hands frequently with soap and water, especially before touching their eyes or face. Avoid touching or rubbing the eyes, as this can contribute to the spread of infection.
4. Avoid Sharing Personal Items: Advise your child not to share personal items such as towels, washcloths, eye drops, or contact lenses with others.
5. Educate Your Child: Teach your child about the importance of good hygiene practices and how to prevent the spread of infections.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Warm Regards
