๐๐ฃ๐๐ช๐จ ๐๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก has successfully accomplished in conducting parenting program under the title โParenting Pathways- Raising Championsโ. The school motivated the first hundred parents for being punctual with STAR parent badge which was lauded by the parents of IVIS.
The event was graced by venerable Chief Guest โ Dr. Sankar Ramisetty, the former Principal and Asst. Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, the respected Director Mr. Raghava Reddy and Mr. K. Sudheer, Mr. Brijanand Reddy, Counselling wing and the Principal Mrs. Priya Darshini.
The Principal addressed the gathering with the insights of the awareness program. IVIS encouraged the parents with the interactive time on the purpose of the event.
The significant aim of this program is to build trust, lead a good parent-child relationship and strategies to achieve it. Several challenges related to parenting were addressed by the Chief Guest which is the need of the hour of present lifestyle. The effects of nuclear families, dual working parents, stress due to juggling work and children, changes in lifestyle and eating habits, comparison of the children, over expectations from children, emotional behaviour were prominently addressed creating an awareness among the parents.
The awareness program threw light on more participative, involved style of parenting to enrich the bond between the parent and child. A Few parents also shared encouraging positive feedback about the program appreciating schoolโs effort in involving the parents in overall child development.
At the end the management felicitated the Chief Guest with a memento and magazine as a token of gratitude.
