On July 1, 2024, Indus Valley International School celebrated Doctors’ Day🩺. The atmosphere was abuzz with excitement and anticipation as we gathered to express our gratitude to the healthcare professionals who work tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe.
The event began with a heartfelt assembly where students, teachers, and staff came together to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of doctors. The Chief Guest of the day, Dr. Balakrishna, Paediatrician, Mahonia Multispeciality Hospital, shared valuable insights on healthy eating habits, staying hydrated, and getting good sleep.
In a gesture of appreciation, students gifted cards and saplings to the guest doctor. Principal Mrs. Priya Darshini thanked Dr. Balakrishna for his insights on health and further emphasized the importance of healthy eating habits along with emotional well-being for the students.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the guest doctor and students who contributed to the success of the celebration. Indus Valley is grateful for the opportunity to recognize the invaluable contributions of doctors and inspire the next generation of medical professionals.
