๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฌ can bring one dimensional lessons to life and create interest for a subject, something that is hard to duplicate through classroom lectures! Owing to this, Indus valley international International School organized a field trip to the Salaar Jung Museum on 28th of December 2023. Students of grade 5&6 were taken to the Salar Jung Museum. The trip began with a lot of enthusiasm and vigor. The museum showcased collection of ancient manuscripts, ceramics, metallic artefacts, carpets, sculptures, textiles, paintings and clocks. Students observed these artefacts which belonged to different civilizations with great admiration. Most of the articles in the museum represented the great culture and heritage of India. This induced and increased awareness about India in students. Watching the great clock ringing every hour amazed the children. Veiled Rebecca, ivory carvings, weapons of Mughal emperors were some of the sections in the gallery that interested the children. On the whole it was an enriching learning experience for students.
