Chairman of the Indus Valley International School is a resident of Hyderabad, Telangana. He began his entrepreneurial career in the early nineties, at a young age, soon after completing his graduation. At that time, India was undergoing a phase of transitions; He released early that emerging India needed proper educational institutions to navigate this rapid transformation.
The goal of Indus Valley International School as one of the best international schools in Hyderabad is to enrich the lives of our students while producing articulate, expressive thinkers and lifelong learners, who are socially responsible, resilient, and active citizens of the world. ABOUT PRINCIPAL
Ms. Priya Darshini stands as a beacon of educational leadership, currently serving as the Principal at Indus Valley International School since December 2022. Her journey in education is marked by profound accomplishments, reflecting a commitment to holistic student development and innovative teaching methodologies.
As a CBSE Master Trainer, Ms. Priya Darshini has demonstrated a mastery of educational principles and practices. Her exceptional contributions to the field were acknowledged with the prestigious Top 100 Principal’s Award, a testament to her dedication and impact on the educational community.
Ms. Priya Darshini’s diverse roles during her 8-year tenure in various positions underscore her versatility. She served as the Grade 12 English faculty, grade 10 Coordinator, coordinator of International Dimensions in School (IDS), literary club in charge, NIE coordinator, and held the esteemed position of Chief Editor for both monthly and annual magazines.
Her academic journey is marked by a strong educational foundation, including an MA in English from Annamalai University (2012), MSc in Electronics from Osmania University-Sai Sudhir PG College (2007), BSc in Electronics from Osmania University – Sai Sudhir Degree College (2005), IPE from St. Francis College for Women (2002), and SSC from St. Francis School for Girls (2000). Beyond traditional teaching, Ms. Priya Darshini lent her voice to GK textbooks published by Viva Book Publication, covering 15 books across 5 grades, addressing the pandemic-induced learning loss.
Ms. Priya Darshini’s commitment to social causes is evident in her association with the Roshni Foundation, where she contributed to training teachers in Dahanu village, focusing on effective phonics teaching. Currently serving as the Telangana State President for GVC (Global Village Connect), she actively works towards creating a comprehensive education network.
Her vision, “Each One Teach One,” encapsulates her belief in the power of education to uplift the underprivileged. She envisions a future where every student embraces the role of a teacher, contributing to the betterment of society. Her core strengths include being detail-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to achieve targets ahead of schedule. She emphasizes the importance of channeling time and energy towards promoting education and preparing students to be confident speakers.
Ms. Priya Darshini embodies a growth mindset, transparent leadership, and a commitment to empowering and enriching teachers. Her approach involves appreciating hard work, fostering humanity, and motivating teachers through Continuous Professional Development. In times of crisis, she excels in resource management with minimal means. Her mentoring extends beyond academics, focusing on the growth and emotional well-being of parents and students through strategic planning, ultimately unlocking their full potential.
